May 2010: Vegas, Willy Wonka, Flowers and Ducks

In May Rob took a business trip to Las Vegas, Sarah played an Oompa Loompa in her school's rendition of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, the flowers continued to bloom and a pair of ducks decided to make their home, with a nest of eggs, in our back garden.

February 2010: Concerts and Snow

Sarah sang in North Texas Choir Regionals, and Texas received more snow than we'd seen here in years.

March 2009: Sarah's 13th Birthday Party

Sarah's Birthday is in February, but due to a busy schedule, we held her party in March this year.

When the tornado sirens start sounding, this is where we huddle. Given that the house could be blown away at any moment there are probably way too many smiles in this picture ...

January 2009: Grandma's visit

Grandma came to visit us in January. As usual, the weather was much warmer in Texas than in her home state of Iowa: T-shirts by the pool.
